In 2005 the Washington County Board of Commissioners commissioned a task force on workforce housing. That task force made a number of recommendations to the County on how the supply of workforce housing could be expanded. The Washington County LWV Workforce Housing Coalition was developed in 2006 to educate our community on matters relating to housing affordability and to educate public officials on the views of their constituents.
